Dear QV Masters,
I have such data in my database:
PERIOD | PARTNER | DIM_1 | DIM_2 | DIM_3 |
201301 | P_01 | 1 | 9 | 17 |
201301 | P_02 | 2 | 10 | 18 |
201302 | P_01 | 3 | 11 | 19 |
201302 | P_02 | 4 | 12 | 20 |
201303 | P_01 | 5 | 13 | 21 |
201303 | P_02 | 6 | 14 | 22 |
201304 | P_01 | 7 | 15 | 23 |
201304 | P_02 | 8 | 16 | 24 |
I would like to transform data to the table:
PERIOD | PARTNER | DIM | VALUE |
201301 | P_01 | DIM_1 | 1 |
201301 | P_02 | DIM_1 | 2 |
201302 | P_01 | DIM_1 | 3 |
201302 | P_02 | DIM_1 | 4 |
201303 | P_01 | DIM_1 | 5 |
201303 | P_02 | DIM_1 | 6 |
201304 | P_01 | DIM_1 | 7 |
201304 | P_02 | DIM_1 | 8 |
201301 | P_01 | DIM_2 | 9 |
201301 | P_02 | DIM_2 | 10 |
201302 | P_01 | DIM_2 | 11 |
201302 | P_02 | DIM_2 | 12 |
201303 | P_01 | DIM_2 | 13 |
201303 | P_02 | DIM_2 | 14 |
201304 | P_01 | DIM_2 | 15 |
201304 | P_02 | DIM_2 | 16 |
201301 | P_01 | DIM_3 | 17 |
201301 | P_02 | DIM_3 | 18 |
201302 | P_01 | DIM_3 | 19 |
201302 | P_02 | DIM_3 | 20 |
201303 | P_01 | DIM_3 | 21 |
201303 | P_02 | DIM_3 | 22 |
201304 | P_01 | DIM_3 | 23 |
201304 | P_02 | DIM_3 | 24 |
Is there any simple way to do this?
Have you looked at the possibility of using CrossTable() already? If not try that: The Crosstable Load
UPDATE:
Table:
CrossTable(DIM, VALUE, 2)
LOAD PERIOD,
PARTNER,
DIM_1,
DIM_2,
DIM_3
FROM
[https://community.qlik.com/thread/194124]
(html, codepage is 1252, embedded labels, table is @1);
