Our customer has sensitive information in it's database. We need to be able to track what tables or fields are viewed by our QlikView developers when using the development client, so that this access could be audited. I don't think it's possible - does anybody know of anything that can help with this?
Qlikview governance dashboard is close to your requirement but not sure, contact Qliktech team for more information.
Give every developer their own account in the database.
Then check the logs in the database.
Make sure Publisher has an account also.
The QV Governance Dashboard does show which Fields and Tables are loaded into QVDs and into QVW files. It also includes basic Load (Select) statements from QVW scripts going against a database.
However, it will not show you who is actually viewing those tables and fields. The database logs might provide more specific information, as Jerry points out.

Hi David
if the database has sensistive information, perhaps you can monitor Qlikview access as suggested in previous answers but in my opinion is better (if supported as every dbms has different audiing features) to audit at the database level (as Jerry answers)
