150 columns in one table......

is there any drawback in designing a dashboard that include one transactional table with 150 columns?

Hi,

    Might be you will face some memory/performance issue.Do you think all 150 columns are needed

Yes because i concatinated all transactional tables in one table. i had to do it because of the complex table design

Hi,

It's easier to get performance problems with larger data volumes, but I guess it will depend on your hardware and total number of lines as well.

I would be more careful with the design of the data model and expressions.

Jean, you could also build a link table instead of concatenating all tables. This will create smaller tables instead of just one large table.
