Autogenerate function?

Hi,

I am new  to qlikview and I couldn't figure out how autogenerate function works and why we need to use it. It would be great if you explain it with an example.

It allows you to create N number of records. Review the help in QlikView Desktop and perhaps this two discussions will help you to get the idea. It's quite simple.
