Book Advice

I have been developing in Qlikview for just a few weeks without any training. I have been using Version 10.

Can anyone suggest a book for beginners that will take me through pretty much everything including Set Analysis etc.

Thanks in advance.

Qlikview 11 for Developers is currently the best book available imho. Also if you're using QV10. Most of the book applies equally to QV10. You could choose to dowload QV11 Desktop and use that version to work through the book. The example files and documents can be used with QV Personal Edition, so that isn't an problem to worry about.

Hi,

I think Qlikview Reference Manual and Qlikview Help are the best materials for Qlikview, they cover almost every topic.  Set Analysis topic is covered superbly in Qlikview Help file under Set Analysis section.

As suggested by Gysbert Wassenaar, this is Qlikview 11 for Developers also one of the best book for Qlikview.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,

Jagan.

Hi,

As you are new to QlikView I suggest you to go through the developer course manaul completely and also practice the examples that are given in the manual. I can provide you the developer course manual and Data Sources that are required to do certain examples. This could be very helpful. After Completing that refer set analysis in help context. So that you can get complete idea on Set Analysis. I also done the same.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
