Btrieve .DAT Files

Hello everybody,

does anybody have experience with getting data out of binary .DAT files?

I wanted to connect through ODBC but therefor .DDF Files are needed, which I don't have.

(I tried to write them myself, but at the end the DDF didn't fit the data in the .DAT file.)

If someone has experience with this kind of problem, I would really appreciate the help.

Hi David,

can you post or send the file? There are some developer tools:

http://www.nomad.ee/btrieve/files/index.html

Maybe some tool helps to create the DDF or extract the data?

thank you for your concern, but since i found out that i was using DataFlex and there is dataflex odbc, then i will use it
