Calulated Dimension filter

Hi,

Can anyone help? I have a field where sometimes there is a reference and sometimes it is null.

I have created a 'calculated dimension' that shows if the field has a reference then in says 'CATALOG' and if the field is null then 'NONCATALOG'.

This works ok but I am unable to filter on my new field in straight table, 'NONCATALOG' is greyed out?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I guess null can not be filtered. The work around this would be to convert nulls into NONCATALOG on the back end of the application and then it should allow you to make selections.
