Can I use a straight table as source for bar chart?

Hello everyone

If I have a straight table can I use that as a source for a bar chart?

The reason behind this question is that the straight table contains multiple rules for which fields to show - rules that I have not been able to transfer onto the bar chart.

Thanks in advance

/Martin

Hi Martin, if the dimensions and expression can be used to create a bar chart you can copy and paste the object and change the chart type in general tab.

Also there is an option to set quick-change, it will add a button in the caption bar to change between the selected chart types.

No. Not possible.

One design principle we've had when we designed QlikView was to avoid such dependencies, since they potentially would cause other problems. You could for instance get long chains of dependencies that would take time and circular dependencies that you need to resolve, etc.
