Clarrifiaction Require for Document CAL

Hi Forum,

Suppose, I have one QV Document named as Sales.qvw and it is always in use by 3 users.

FI, I aware that

1 Name CAL = Right for 1 person to open all or any numbers of QV document

1 Document CAL = Right for 1 person to open 1 specific document

Here I can achive this by assign Name CAL to 3 users and they can access Sales.qvw.

Now, Suppose I have 0 Name CAL. Only I had left with Document CAL.

Can I achive/manage the same with Document CAL ?. If Yes, Can I get explain?

Yes - you can assign three document CALs - one to each user - for Sales.qvw. This is a more cost-efficient way to handle people who need one specific QVW (or even two).

As explained by Orsh, similar to Named CAL you can assign three Document CALS to those three users.

Only difference:

Named CAL - opens any document

Document CAL - only that specific document
