Custom and NTFS Users in Publisher At the Same time

Is it possible to run with Windows Users e.g Whit2010\tina   and custom users eg bob and freddy

(Using Publisher)

I assume QV has to be set DMS

I then set up some the custom users as above (CUSTOM\)

The sticky point is TYPE and Login Address on QVWS

If I use TYPE NTLM and "Alternate Login", then Whit2010\tina can login to AccessPoint but not Bob and freddy

If I use TYPE Custom User and "Alternate Login", then the opposite is true
