Hi,

in QV, how to show the legend while using the Cyclic Group.

You have did something different. You created one text object and make the text appear in the text object.

Nothing much differently.

I used text box and used =getcurrentfield() function to display the selected field.

Raghu is correct. You need to have at least two expressions. A group of expressions still counts as 1. A workaround I used is to create another expression as pop-up text only. You can use this to display pop-up text similar to on Presentation > Pop-up Labels. This pop-up text expression will not show in the legend but your grouped expression will.
