Do actions/triggers execute sequentially?

Hello, I think I once read something that stated that actions/triggers may execute out of the order they are in the list. Is this true? I have a text object that when it is clicked on has the following actions: Set Variable, Clear Field, Select in Field, Set Variable.

That was the case a few releases ago as described in this thread:

I can confirm that the actions did work in that order for that release.  I am unsure if Qlik has made any updates to this.

It's not true, most of the times executed as per selections of triggers.
