My company recently upgraded to QV9. Sometimes (not all the time), when i reload a document, i get the following: "Execution Failed, reload old data". If i save the document with a different name and reload it, it works fine. Any idea what could be the cause? I'm reloading with qlikview 32 bits because I'm making an ODBC connection to a database and we have only the 32-bits Qkliview ODBC data source.
I had a customer with a similar problem. The reload for one document suddenly stopped working. I turned on logging (Settings > Document Properties > Generate Log File) and this told me the problem was a General Script Error.
The log file is saved in the same directory as the QlikView document and contains a lot of useful information which should help to debug your error.
After doing some testing on another machine, a restart of the client machine actually fixed the problem. Not sure if your fix will be as simple as restarting your machine but it could be worth a try.
