Email Alert on Post Reload - Via Publisher

Hi Folks

I have an email alert set up inside a document, the alert is designed to run OnPostReload and works fine from a desktop client, but it doesn't appear to work when running a reload through publisher.

Does anybody know if this "should" work from inside publisher?
