Establish database connection for a QVW file containing only presentation layer and no data layer

Hi,

I want to use a already created QVW file which contains charts, visualizations (ie the presentation and logic layer) and NO data. How to establish connection to database  to make the this application run.

I am using Qlik Personal Desktop Edition.

The personal edition of qlikview has a number of limitations and used for demo purposes only for the most part.

If you need to obtain a trial license to work with QlikView Destkop and Server you may request that here. The link is for Qlik Sense but they can direct you to QlikView as well:

• You can also reach out via the chat bot when you log into Qlik.com and chat with customer support who can in turn redirect you to the Qlik Customer management group.
