Excel Macro Error- ActiveX component can't create object: 'Excel.Application'

Dear Friends

I am trying to run a macro for excel email, however I am getting error as below:

ActiveX component can't create object: 'Excel.Application'

I do not have MS Office/Excel installed on the Qlikview server. Is it possible to achieve above task without installing MS Office

on the Qlikview Server?

Thanks Staffan. You are correct with your response. It is NOT possible to by pass installation of Microsift.
