Few Bookmarks goes missing

Hi,

Even though the parameter to delete the shared bookmarks was not set in the settings.ini (11.2 SR 9) file, a few temporary bookmarks disappear after every few days?

Can anyone explain why this is happening?

Moreover, I have created another application that will backup the .shared file at midnight into a backup folder. If I browse the backed up files using power tools, I can see few temporary bookmarks in the files created a few weeks ago which went missing.

The catch is a temporary bookmark whose ID is lower (created earlier) still exists where as the temporary bookmarks created at a later date disappear.

Also, I would appreciate if you can share any best practices to  manage bookmarks?

Hi Prasan,

If the Bookmark's are more than it might not be visible , it will be residing inside the repository .

Go to repository > and check for the shared bookmarks  or press CTRL+Shift+B.

Check with the same .

Temporary bookmarks are getting removed due to an issue in QV 11.2 SR 10 . We upgraded to SR 11 and all is good now.
