Grouping Rows in a Table

I'm new to using Qlikview and I'm struggling with getting entries to display in a singluar group.  I keep seeing Pivot groups mentioned when I look it up.  How do I go about making one of these or is this even the right thing to look at?

In the QlikView Desktop at the top choose:

• Tools
• Quick Chart Wizard
• Next >
• Select Pivot Table
• ... follow the prompts......
