Half circle pie chart

HI,

Is it possible to create half circle pie chart?

It should be similar to Half guage, but we can't use guage since the number of segments is not constant.

I could imagine that with an aprropriate dummy-value of 50% which will be colored per argb(0,0,0,0) in transparent might do the trick.
