How i retrieve a value based on a formula ??

Hello,i have a report that filter for year in a select list

The rows of table are:

year  month   desc

2012  1          ene

2012  1          end

2012  2          feb

2011  1          ene

I need show in a text box when the user click on 2012  the min and max month but in letters

if i write Min(month) show 1

but i need ene

how i indicate that retrieve the value of desc based in a min of month ??

Try

=SubField('$(MonthNames)',';',min(month))

Do this in the script.

month(Date(year,month,01)) as monthcalc

Min(monthcalc)
