How to drill out data from a column to an outside database/link.

I have a column where I would like to create a hyperlink for each piece of data.  I would like this hyperlink to connect to an outside database (peoplesoft), and load variables to that database.  I have used this feature in other BI tools like OBIEE.  New to QlikView and wondering if this feature is attainable.

Use Url as an expression then:

1) change the type of your expression from text to link

2) write as your expression: Url & '<url>'&Url
