How to show Tool Tip Text for Chart/Container Objects

Hi

I want to show a Tool Tip text or Help Text when a user hovers over a chart/table

Actually I need this to give a brief about what that chart is and how it is to be interpreted. Please let me know a quick resolution. Thanks!

Hi,

you can type some help text in Properties/Caption - field Help text. In caption (right side) will apear question mark. After hover it will apear Tool tip text.

That works if I am showing caption bar on the charts. However, is there a way I can show it on charts which doesn't have caption bar shown?

Hi,

only way I found is to comment dimensions or/and expressions, but not show comment on chart. You can try to fill comment fields in tab Dimensions and tab Expressions.
