How to store data into Excel format using script

Hi

I am new to Qlikview, i have a transaction table with 23million+ rows of data, dating back to Jan 2007 to present.

I need to extract this data and import it to a sql table.

I have tried the csv  (5.3gb file) method but this method seems to mess up all the foreign charaters..

I was thinking of using excel as that has better support for foreign charaters..

Does anyone know how to do this or a better way.
