Is there a way to convert a pivot table into a table box?

No, that's a different kind of object. You'll have to create it from scratch. You could change the chart type of the pivot to straight table. You can make a straight table look very much like a table box.

Pivot table and table box are two different type of objects. We can't convert one into another.
