Printing a chart

Dear Community,

I can't print a chart with many pages and I took the code which you have shown Sridhar in his reply. His solution works but I have the same problem like before. The printer just print the first page. We have the QV-Version 10.

Is there just a solution by programing or is there any standard-solution? I also tried it with the report editor to multilateral Datasheet, but I don't have success.

Best wishes

Walter

Walter,

I just check with QV10 SR3 and  QV9 SR6 and printing a simple table box resulted in the complete list of values (some 10 pages for my data). So I think there should be a standard solution for your problem.

You are using the context menu on the object --> Print, right?

Regards,

Stefan

Hello Stefan,

first of all I would like to thank you, for yourf ast and good reply. Just an information: I get 15 minutes before QV11. When I print a table box like you described, I have no problems. But when I have a barchart (german: Balkendiagramm) I just get the first page. Normally this bar chart has about 12 pages.

So you are using a limitation of max visible number and show x-axis scrollbar option on presentation tab?

try creating a bar chart without this limitations. this seems to print just fine for me, in a multipage report and just using the print context menu.

If you don't like to show this object in your application, I think there are some methods to hide it in your layout, but use it in a report.

Hope this helps,

Stefan
