When execute batch file automatic, some time it does not complete the data retirival process, and give error messgae "Launch Failure". I think this is due to maximum process running in the task manager, which never ends it self.
Have you tried to monitor the issue when the document is opened directly (without using a .bat file)?
If you mean QV doesn't respond when you are using a batch file for execution, perhaps something is wrong with the batch file. To test this, you can end the your-bat-file.bat process from the Task Manager and check the CPU and RAM performance before and after doing so.
