QVW filesize problem


I got a qvw file size 500 mb and my pc comes with either trying to allocate more virtual memory several times or shuts down with a message Internal inconsistency

What can I do???

Hi

A 500MB qvw file expands in RAM to 4-5 times that size (and possibly more if you have some very large tables). So you need about 2-3GB of free RAM for a model of this size - which may not be possible if you have are running a 32 bit instance of QV.

The solution is to make more RAM available - on 64 bit.

You can,

  • Increase RAM
  • Reduce the size of application by loading limited data
  • Check if there is any optimization possibilty that could reduce your app size
  • Check if front-end expression could be optimized
  • Live with the problem
