Read-only access and CALs

Hi

I am new to Qlikview, and was wondering if it is possible to give users read-only permissions/access which will not use any CALs?

Thanks

Hi,

You can set the security to meet your requirements in either the Document Properties in the Settings menu, Sheet and object wise. But as soon as a user logs into the QlikView AccessPoint, a license of any kind (user, document, session, usage) must be available, otherwise the user will not be able to open any document.

Hope that helps.

Miguel

I think we suspected as much, but just wanted to double-check.  Many thanks for your prompt and helpful response.
