Sort order for sparklines/mini charts?

Hello All --

When I use a sparkline in a straight table, how is the dimension of the sparkline sorted? As an example, I want to show sum(sales) and use YearMonth as the dimension. Will it sort YearMonth on load order?

It looks like it sorts ascending by Numeric value for numeric fields and ascending on Text value for text fields. See attached example.
