Top 10 Categories Display

Guys,

         I need to show some chart which displays the top 10 categories in 2010 or 2011.

         Here categories is one of the dimensions.

         I know how to show them but my basic question is which way or chart I can best represent them.

Hey Hi,

Use the Bar Chart with the Horizontal Bars and in the Presentation Tab Check Max visible = 10.

This may be the best visualization.

Hi,

the simple one is to use bar chart..

in dimension tab: use categories as a dimension

in expression tab: put your expression,

in sort tab: check sort by Y-value

in presention tab : check max visible number, and fill max visible number = 10. it's up to you want to show just 10 or 100..

the point if you want to see top categories is in the sort tab. sort by y-value..
