Trigger Sheets

I have a list object with Month objects . I need different sheets to have different month displayed. I tried on open sheet trigger select field Month = Jan for sheet 1 ,Month = Feb for Sheet 2 and so on. But its not working. Is there another way ? I do not want to use alternate state.

I used the on open sheet select the field and on close clear field . This worked!!
