V10 Server Cannot see Local Active Directory when opening Scope Drop Down

I have just loaded QVS V10 on a Laptop so I can get familiar with the application. When I try to distribute a document to a user and I open the scope drop down I do not see the Local AD for my machine. In addition I cannot open a document on the AccessPoint and receive an error that a license does not exist for the user.

I believe the two are connected and I'm curious what I missed on the install.

I'm running a 32Bit version of XP Pro on VMware. I stopped all QV services and uninstalled V9.0 I then deleted all QlikView folders before the re-install. The licensing is installed and was successful.

What did I miss?

Thanks,

Danny

Problem solved. QV10 setup did not set the path for the Local AD setting under Directory Service Connectors..
