Weighted Average

Hi Community,

there I am facing a Problem related to weighted averages. As shown in the table below, my data comprise 3 components: 'machine', 'amount' and 'time' (see Table). What I'm trying to do is calculating the weighted average of time for the two machines A and B based on the weighting factor 'amount'.

I managed to do so by calculating it as shown in the last three colums in the table. BUT: this only works when one of the mashines is selected. The weighted average is then the sum of the single components above (last colum).

Weighted Average for machine A: 4,62

Weighted Average for machine B: 4,41Pic3.jpg:

What I would like to achieve is to calculate the weighted averages in a Table, in which the two machines are represented in only a single row, which means that the only Dimension of this table is 'machine' (as shown below)!

Can anyone help?

Thanks, Tim
