embed a visual component in QlikView document

I am very new to qlikview and my background is in appliation and web development.

I would like to embed something like a web page or a portion of a web page inside of a .qvw somthing like google or bing maps. I would need to pass the current selection criteria.

first of all is this possible? if so what would be the best way of doing this.

Use a QlikView extension object.

Current selections can be passed to the extension object by using the SelectTextsInColumn() function.

You can find a bunch of posts about extension objects to get you started.
