horizontal list box

Hi I'm tring to get an horizontal look of a list box (as shown in the file attached)

I saw that what I need to do is to creat a list box, shrink it and then pull it to the side

it just doesnt work, what am I'm missing

In presentation tab of list box properties, uncheck 'Single Column'.

listbox properties--> presentation --> uncheck  single column

then you get the listbox values horizontally
