magento (e-com db) connection

Hello experts there,

Can anyone tell me how do we establish connection to any online db from Qlikview?

Lets say, i have host name, user name and password for the online db, how could i establish connection to this db from Qlikview?

Please assist.

Do you want to deploy Qlikview application online or you want to have Online DB as a source to Qlikview application. Can you please bit clarify.

It should be through ODBC connectivity only. I guess there is a dedicated driver which can establish a connection from Magento to Qlikview.

Hi Gowri,

First find the specific driver for the magento db and install the driver in your system , then added a user DSN in the system if your able to do it the your work is almost done. Once DSN is successful then go to Qlikview >edit script> ODBC connection >select show system DSN > choose the DSN you have added , that it!!
