using above function to look at previous dimension

I want to do something like

If(Above([Group Name])=[Group Name],1,0)

Basically just want an expression that looks at the row above to see if the dimension Group Name is equal to the Group Name on current row.

Do you have more than one dimensions? May be this:

If(Above(TOTAL [Group Name])=[Group Name],1,0)
