working set limits

what is the difference between the different working set limits  ?

It seems that you used an older version of the qmc - probably from QV 10 or earlier - as two consoles exists, the qmc and the qemc. The working set settings contain the possibility to define the min. and max. RAM consumption (in % from the physically RAM) from the qlikview-server to ensure that the whole server runs stable - then without qlikview would take and keep all the available RAM and other processes like the OS might didn't have enough ressources and produces errors or crash.

I think if you don't have settings like this:

it will mean that your drop-down values are a simplyfied form of them to reduce the complexity.
