Custom Fonts in Tabular Reporting (Excel)

Hi Qlik Community!

I was wondering if anyone have had success with using custom fonts in Tabular reports (Excel add-in) with PDF as the output format? I have a custom font that is installed and works on my machine - however, when I preview my PDF output report, the font is defaulted to Times New Roman.

I have tried adding the font to the theme used by the app, but unfortunately that did not work.

In Qlik NPrinting, we had control of the servers and could therefore just install fonts where needed - but how should we proceed in Qlik Cloud Reporting Services?

Kind regards,

PythonMCSJ

Hi,

no, you can't use custom fonts.

Hi,

I dont think this is possible given the way this is working where PDF from excel needs to be printerd in Qlik Cloud where that font is not installed.

Hi Ruggero,

Alright, that is good to know. Perhaps this can be added as a limitation of Qlik Cloud Reporting Services? I was struggling to find any definitive answer anywhere.

Kind regards,

Hi,

I asked to improve the documentation by adding the information about fonts.
