Fixed Name of a generated Excel file from Export Button

I am using a custom object in one of my Qlik apps - it is Export Button.

When I click on it to export an Excel file with a data set, a file name is generated automatically - it is a string of auspicious signs like: 7959d13c-748b-4dd4-b65e-22c35156b25c.xlsx

My goal is to call the file according to the pattern: "My Report_current_date.xlsx". In export definition I should be able to write my formula, but it doesn't work even, if I put a simple string like "Just_a_test":

Does anyone know how to overcome it?

As you say - it is a custom object so it is not supported by Qlik. If you want adjust this extension I suggest you contact developer who built it.

Since you are posting this question in Qlik Reporting Service which is a SaaS offering in cloud my suggestion would be to use native OnDemand Tabular reporting generation instead which:

1. is supported by Qlik and is native solution
2. will meet your requirements
