How to get notification if Script log contains "Execution Failed"

How to get notification if Script log contains "Execution Failed" or Script/Task absolutely does nothing until times out and retries.
As the task was showing Running, while log said failed. And we were waiting for an hour.

Is there a script/powershell we can create to keep looking for a pattern and send notification?
