Pixel perfect report not sent

Hi,

We’re experiencing an issue with a Qlik SaaS in app Pixel Perfect report that fails to send to a specific user. The same report is delivered successfully to all other recipients, and the affected user also receives other (Excel-based) reports generated from the same Qlik application.

The app uses Section Access, but the user has full access to all data. In the Qlik event log, every step completes normally except for the final step com.qlik.transport-response.email.sent, which is never triggered. As a result, no corresponding email appears in the Exchange logs.

Any ideas?

Regards.

Hi @sogloqlik , Have you check the spam or Junk folder ?

Also check the automation history once is that mail id present or not while running automation.

May be check with smaller dataset

like filter down to one region or one month. If this smaller file succeeds, the issue is size-related.

and

As you mention using Section Access - is that the full data set delivered other person or filtering data?

Hi,

As I mentioned earlier, the Qlik SaaS event com.qlik.transport-response.email.sent is not being triggered, so it doesn’t appear in the Exchange trace.
Additionally, the email is successfully delivered to me even with the same Section Access applied.

For clarity, the email is not being sent through an automation,  it’s part of an application reporting process.

Any ideas?

I found a workaround, but it's not ideal.

If I grant the user permissions at the Space level, the Pixel Perfect report is sent successfully.
However, I don’t understand why the behavior is different for the same app and the same user:

  • Excel reports are sent correctly when the user has only App-level authorization.

  • Pixel Perfect reports require Space-level authorization to be sent.

I don’t always want to grant users access to entire spaces, so this workaround isn’t good for me.

Why is there such a difference in permissions between these two report types, and is there a better solution?
