Qlikview Alerts When Qlikview Workfiles failed.

Hi Everyone,

How can I set up a call to my party when my autorun jobs get an error at 3 am?

 It is a very critical situation because if those things go wrong, all dashboards will be delayed for at least 6 hours.

does the Qlikview Manegement Console contain a suitable solution for this ? or another solution ?

can you help me ?..🙂

@MirMir

QlikView does not have this functionality built in. But there are companies that sells services like this. I found several that looks like they are doing what you need. But since I have never tested this, I can't give any recommendation.

It looked if there are possibilities to program such features on yourself:

How To Perform a Phone Call in Visual Basic (microsoft.com)

Easier than this might be to let your mail ring. I think the most mail-apps on the phone support ring-tones and vibrations if a new mail is coming. Depending on your mail-app you may configure with rules and/or profiles a different behaviour to the default-settings if the mail comes from your server. If not you may also just install a second mail-app with a specialized mail-address which received only these kind of mails.

Another alternative may be to use a mail-client like Outlook to send SMS. AFAIK there is a configurable service for it available and I assume it could be automated, too. In this regard you may also take a look on Power Automate.
