Removing Mobile Devices from Users - any issue with deleting from devices collection in Mongo?

Hi,

Have already posted in Ideation about having front end admin rights to remove devices associated with specific users as an Admin, having looked at the mongo collections for a different issue, i can see the devices collection and am assuming an aggregation query on the owner field > user collection would give me who has a given device (apologies I'd never looked at mongo syntax before yesterday so if I'm mislabelling anything I can only apologise). Would deleting said objects from the devices collection work or would it break something?
