Transferring Tabular Reporting with Filters, etc., to the Published App

Hello everyone,

In development, we use one area for validation and another for publishing approved applications.

Excel reports with filters, groups, and users have now been set up in the application within the validation area.

Is it possible to migrate these to the published application, or is it not possible to transfer the reporting components?

Thanks and best regards

Hi @Danijel

See the following:
In-application reporting in managed spaces | Qlik Cloud Help

A best practice is to develop the template on a source application located in a shared space. When you need to publish the application to a managed space, download the template directly from the source application and upload it into the published application. As the application and its reporting needs change over time, you can follow this workflow when uploading new versions of the template.

After publishing, the reporting assets – template, filters, and report tasks – can be recreated as desired, based on the reporting use case for the published application. The real data sources used in the distribution list should be added to the managed space.

When you add a distribution list to an application, the application's load script is changed. The load script of an application is not accessible in a published application. Therefore, you need to add a distribution list to the application before publishing it.

See the link above for the full details regarding reporting in a managed space.
