Hey Folks,
We are using Qlik nPrint to send out reports to customers on a weekly basis.
Last week we almost had quite a dataleak... I am here to ask you for tips on failsafes, and how to build them.
Situation:
- We have an app in QlikSense which includes open documents (orders) and invoices of the last 2 year.
- We have the nPrint report running on this app.
- Users in nPrint (Customers) are receipients of this report, and make use of an filter on their customernumber.
- While editing the excel-upload in the back-end of nPrint, i accidentily filtered, and sorted in excel while not including the last columns (being the columns 'Filter' and 'Group')
- Result: some customer got filers of other customers, or worse: some customers would lose their filter completely.
- In the last case: customers without any filter would just receive an report with
- All documents
- All invoices
- of All customers.
- Needless to say: I would have something to explain 🤗
Do you have any suggestions on building some failsafes to avoid these kinds of errors?
