How are App Contents different from App Content Files?

Client-Managed Qlik Sense comes built-in with two security rules called ReadAppContents and ReadAppContentFiles. The fact that there are two rules seems to imply that there is a difference between what Qlik Sense refers to as App Content and an App Content File.

Is there a difference between App Contents and App Content Files? If there is, what is it?
