Security Rule of Reload Button

Hi
I would like to provide data reload button in the distributed app.

So I created a new security rule

- Name : Reload_Button_Execute.
- Resource Filter : APP_ID No, RelodTask*, DataConnection_*
- Action : Reload, Update

Stream's Security Rule :

- Resource Filter : Stream_ID
- Action : Read, Update, Publish

But there's a problem.
The "Edit Sheet" icon is activated in the published app's public sheet.
How do I not display the "Edit Sheet" icon on the "publish Sheets" area ?

Best Regard.

Hello @Frank_S @hanna_choi ,

I did not had the chance to test this myself yet neither I am sure is possible to avoid the edit sheet as the update action might lead to the fact that the sheet is editable.

Cheers,

Albert

Hi Frank

Levi's comments were helpful to me.
I changed the access permission according to his guide.

The issue is

The "Edit Sheet" button is activated when I check the update action permission.

This means that ALL authorized users can immediately modify published apps, published sheets.

Is there a way that the "Edit Sheet" button is not activated on the published app and public sheet?

Thanks

If you have a published sheet you need to export/duplicate the app that contains the sheet.

Edit Sheet via the duplicate app.

The republish the app using 'replace existing' .

Hi Frank

Thank you for your answer.

We are duplicating and then edit the published app.

By the way, when We set the security rule for the reload button, the Edit Sheet button is activated in the published app.

Could you tell me the settings for access rights that end users, not the app owners, can execute the reload button in the published app?

Best Regard.

I personally haven't attempted that specific requirement.

I will share this help page with you as it may lead you in the right direction.

Perhaps others here may have attempted this and offer advice....assuming it is possible.

@Albert_Candelario

Any ideas here?
