With the API designer I have designed an API. This API has been using the remote engine on my desktop and that works fine.
Now I want to test and use an cloud engine, I already allocated one cloud engine to a workspace (environment). But the next step is unclear to me, how to switch from remote engine to cloud engine for that task and new tasks that are going to be made? Also I am wondering where I can find the URL for that cloud engine to access the API from external desktops?
You can only run web services from a remote engine I'm afraid. The remote engine can be put anywhere you like. It can be on your internet facing severs or you could use something like AWS. Unfortunately running services from the Talend Cloud is not possible. You configure them there, but they are configured to run on a remote engine.
