Accessing SAP ecc using talend open studio for Big Data7.1

Is it possible to connect to SAP ECC using Talend open studio for Big data/ Data Integration? I tried installing sapjco.jar & sapjcorfc.dll. But this doesn't show up SAP connection component. 

Also, I tried downloading tSAPInput & tSAPOutput component from Talend exchange. But they are still not available in the open studio.

Pls, let me know if SAP ECC connection is possible using Talend open studio for Big data/Data Integration or is it only available in the subscription model.

Hi,

    The various SAP Components available for Talend latest version are as below.

    I could see that the components have been marked for Subscription version. So I am afraid you may not be able to use them with free version of Talend.

Do you have any idea about tSAPInput, tSAPOutput talend components, their description is not available in the above link. I guess they might work for the free version.

They are not available directly in talend open studio. I have downloaded them from talend excahnge, but they are still not available in the open studio. The talend version that I am using is 7.1, is the unavailability TOS version issue?

Hi,

    I quickly checked in Talend exchange and it is showing that the component is compatible only till version 6.0 of Talend. This could be the reason why it is not working for 7.1 version of Talend.

Yes..Even I think that may be the reason. I wonder why those components are available on exchange for download then?
Because I found a post saying that those components were inbuilt for TOS until version 6.0..

Hi,

    The connector is in Talend Exchange is used by many customers who are still in version 6. They are not available in the open source version of Talend for 7 right now.
